Saddle is shown on a quarter-horse who is over 14 hands high.

The size of this saddle has been painstakingly designed for the miniature horse, donkey and rider!  It's length is perfect for the length of the mini horse back and is fairly open in the gullet for those wider pony backs.  Decorative hand tooling is added to make it "look just like Grandpa's!"

A suede covered and padded inset seat adds a little "Sticking Power" to keep the child from sliding around in the saddle.  Stirrup hoods have been added to the stirrups to prevent the child from sticking his/her foot all the way through.

* The cantle height has been raised 1 1/2" to allow more back support for the child, and to prevent the child from sliding out the back of the saddle if the pony picks up the pace.  It also has an 11" seat with a total length of 19" and will nicely fit miniature horses and donkeys all the way up to full sized horses.

Of course, the package is not complete without the halters, headstalls, cinch and reins for that miniature horse, donkey, or pony.
